Whatta Wednesday!!

Wednesday is usually pretty quiet around here!
I take my one year old daughter, Arelia, to Mother Goose on the Loose at the Local Library.
My son, James, is in the weekly 'groove' of Kindergarten. Still unbelievable to me.
This morning was exciting! When I woke and checked my email... mostly spam... I had two really fun messages!
One from Betsy at Innovative Stamp Creations, So kindly leaving a comment on my ISC post. YIKES. I was thinking OH MY... I should have done a better job! Ha. And WOW, how amazing of Betsy to take a moment to comment on my little ole Journal.
My second fun email, no offense Mom (who sent me 3 forwards-grr), was from Angela at Our Daily Bread! My card is up on the blog there!!!
What an honor! Thank You for choosing my card for today's Post!

I have no project for you today, I have been unmounting 40+ SU sets over the past two days. And My son had to make a Valentine shoe box.... ours has taken on a life of its own. Do You Copic???

I have had a few people ask if I am using Copics for my coloring. Why yes, yes I am!!!

I am happy to share my copic experience... limited as it may be!
I do operate a blog called COPIC MUNKIE for my LSS Funkie Munkie Scraps!!
If you want a good deal on copic markers... visit the store, call or email!

I have included some of my Copic downloads on the sidebar of my blog >>>

Now I will answer a few questions! And give you some great links!

Yes, I have almost all of the markers - minus the fluorescent markers.
I store them in numerical order in a bookshelf.
I do however have a copic 36 wallet... where I keep my Rachel Recommends.

and a 24 for NUMEROUS hair and skin combos!!!
I take these two wallets with me, and I am never in need. These are the perfect markers for me... when at home, I have the option of ALL the markers. But I use these the most.

I have two notebooks (one full size, one mini)for cataloging my copics and helpful charts for copic usage... many can be found on the copic munkie site. One example is the recommended 36 chart created for each color family at funkie munkie. These are colors that paired in a set, give you optimal usage!!
Here is the pastel chart. And a down-loadable blank chart for your own notebook.
My Mini book is my favorite. It goes everywhere!!!
Want to print your own mini book!!! Here are my pages!!!

Awesome links: Marianne Walkers Blog, Copic Library, Copic Creations Challenge blog, just some of my faves!!

Who is Hungry?

I had planned an entirely different post for today... but my auto post is on its own schedule.
And then I was taken aback this morning by some other things.
So, I decided today I would post a recipe.
I have been working a good bit on the recipe book for my Daughter this week.
Here is my husbands favorite dish of all time.
Straight from the printed pages of my class!!!

Rachel’s Chicken Burritos

Ingredients:
• 2 Large or 4 small Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
• 1 Bouillon Cube
• 1 Tbs. Mexican Seasoning
• 16 oz. can of Diced Tomatoes Any Variety (I use Fired Roasted)
• 1 thinly sliced Onion
• 1 thinly sliced Bell Pepper
• Flour Tortillas
• Muenster cheese slices
• 1 Tbs. Oil
Directions:
In a Medium Sized pot, heat oil and sauté peppers and onion. Add Chicken, Tomatoes, Seasonings and Bouillon, Cover with water. Simmer until chicken is fully cooked… usually about 30 minutes. This can simmer all day if you like. Once Chicken is cooked, shred with two forks. Continue to simmer chicken for 15 minutes or more. Spoon Mixture into Tortillas, roll into burritos. In a large pan spoon a little of the leftover juice onto tops of burritos, cover with Muenster cheese. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted and slightly brown at edge.

Crazy Company Countdown... POST SEVENTEEN WHIFF OF JOY

Brrrrr. Guess What? It Snowed in the Sunny South. Only about an inch here... BUT, that means that since Friday night (when the incidence occurred), this sunshiney State has been on HIGH alert.
Bread and Milk shelves were empty, many places were closed. It was panic. Hahahah
No fun for us transplant Michiganders!
My Recipe Book class on Saturday has been postponed until February 20th.
Basketball and Church were canceled... and then SCHOOL today!!! Seriously! There is not a speck of snow out there. Ah well.

Here is my card for the occasion, SNOWED IN = CHILL OUT!!!
Whiff of Joy is just that, Joyous!
I love the whimsical images, so fun!

I still have BLOG CANDY > Check out Post FIFTEEN.
