My 5 year old son loves to craft... Let's face it, we all craft because we don't want to grow up and put the crayons away!!! My Bff and owner of Paper Makeup stamps gave him this monster for his birthday... He has inked it a few times... better than I do with new stamps! He likes to color his images, but he has been dying to make a card using my nesties. He is a big fan of die cuts and punches. He made this card himself, using my cuttlebug (I helped with the plates) and we found a scrap piece of pattern paper, and he matched his colors HIMSELF!!!
He wanted to make a card that had the Monster telling on his sister... he said that is what the Monster is doing... but we were unsure how to accomplish that. So I said, why don't you find a punch that the monster can point at... I suggested a flower... NAH... How 'bout a rocket! and then we found some 'stars' in our glitter box!
Then we got drippy with some glue!!!!
aww so sweet and something to look back on. Great Monster :P
ReplyDeleteOhhh, so sweet! Great card!
ReplyDeleteHaha! What a wonderful card Rachel! That was so sweet of Katie. :D He gets his skill from his mommy, no doubt. I love how the monster is a tattler, he's awfully convincing too. He does a better job with layering than I do. LOL! Thanks for the Thursday smiles Henahans!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute - tell him GREAT JOB!
ReplyDeleteHe did a totally fab job. And yes, the only real reason I craft is so I can play with stickers and stamps!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Already learning the art of telling on Arelia.. poor girl! hahaha
ReplyDeleteAhh, how cute! They can never start too young...an artist in the making!
